This wedding photo shows the way I see things in a wedding coverage. Interesting images that each one narrates a different story. I always try to create a timeless picture. When George and Claire chose us as their wedding photographers we felt really honored they put their trust on us. But this was also great responsibility and urge to create and see things out of the box.
Everyone is familiar with throwing rice at the newlyweds as they exit the church which is very common in Greek weddings. Actually, it is one of the most popular shots. I have always been interested in shooting that because all couples have natural expressions. But always from a different angle and point of view. Looking around for something to catch my eye, I’ve noticed the wedding car, a blue beetle scarab. I rushed to the back of the car waiting for the couple to exit the church. I am so happy no guests stood at the front ruining the shot! I feel it’s a beautiful wedding pic. Hope you feel the same.
