A wedding in Skiathos is something that always puts a smile on our faces, not only because we set sail for this beautiful green island but also because a beach wedding is just what Greek photographers love to shoot!
Alice and James put all their effort and spent so much time in order to fulfill their dreams so their guests could simply enjoy their big day along with the amazing holiday on the island of Skiathos.
Choosing Princess Hotel for their stay and venue of their wedding wasn’t at all random, as it is one of the most dreamy ones to say ‘I do’. It is incredible how it combines the ease of walking on the sand barefoot and all the comforts of a luxurious 5-star hotel.
The summer mood was all over the place during the whole day. Both Alice and James were eager to exchange their vows. And they did. As they also enjoyed every moment with their guests. From the ceremony till the end. From Alice and James’s vows till the touching speeches of their family and friends.
We cherish the way they looked each other. And this is why we are in love with shooting weddings!
For our wedding on Skiathos we wanted a photographer that was not only technically excellent but that matched our preferred style; we wanted somebody who could catch the special moments among us and our guests, someone with the talents to capture authentic photos rather than staged photos, and somebody prepared to supply original digital files so we could produce our own prints.
We’re so happy that we found Mary and Konstantinos from X Studio! Their photo philosophy was exactly what we wanted – relaxed, real, candid, and creative. That said, our bride and groom portraits were wonderful also, with Mary and Konstantinos providing direction without it feeling like a fashion shoot. The results speak volumes: 1300+ digital files, among which were plenty of stunning, priceless images. We’ve had some friends say they’re the best wedding photographs they’ve ever seen.
On top of this, Mary and Konstantinos were lovely people and a reassuring presence (even before the wedding). The images were processed in 2-3 weeks and easily downloaded from their website. That was a month ago, and we still can’t stop looking at them.
